Ava found this teddy bear in the basement when we were cleaning the other morning. She had so much fun dragging the huge thing around, I had to share!

We had an "Up North" play date for those of us from work don't who live in Grand Rapids. Ava got to play with Patti and Marissa, Jen and Grace, and Jackie, Shelby and Blair. She had fun in the sand, then we were off to Gymboree.

Summer clothes

NEW TOYS!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Madeline (and her parents Jeannie and Bill) who were so generous to send some toys to Ava. She is having a great time learning about the new stuff!

Pretty toes

I painted Ava's toe nails. She sat there so still, wondering what I was doing. I would have never thought she would let me do it, but I was wrong!! I just love pretty pink baby toes!!

Who would have thought that she would automatically know what to do with corn on the cobb? Well, she is a natural! And she liked it!!

Can you see the friend that landed on Ava's left shoulder? It stayed there for about 5 minutes! I was good about it and I didn't even freak out!!!

Cole is such a nice boy; he not only let Ava ride in his car, but her gave her a push!! How sweet are they?!

Gymboree!!

Ava and Cole went to Gymboree to see what it was like. They got a chance to explore everything and play on all of the fun stuff. They even got in the "boat" together! Ava had so much fun she is going to go back once a week to learn more! Thanks for the photos, Amanda!

Future lawn mower

Ava wants to mow the lawn! It won't be long before she is off on the rider, taking over the yard chores! (I am NOT complaining about that!!)
