Easter at Grandma's

My mom cooked us a wonderful Easter dinner, which I was fortunate enough to enjoy before I went to work. Ava was a bit under the weather, but we still put her in her cute dress to celebrate the day. She didn't see to mind too much, probably because Grandma has so many fun toys to play with!!

Ava had her first cold for Easter...fun, fun, fun. But, just like her, she enjoyed it in the best of spirits!! Her nose is quite red and she now HATES the booger-sucker, but we think she might be getting past it. WOO-HOO!!! She was so cute with her Easter basket, she pulled everything out one by one and checked it out. She should be a blast on her birthday!!! Then we put her in the basket...our Easter gift!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Thanks to Alainna, Ava had some sute GREEN to show off for Ireland Day!!! Went next door to wish Amanda a Happy 30th Birthday, and Ava got to play with Cole. She needs to be a bit more sturdy on her feet before they can really have fun together!!

Ava LOVES the bath and the froggie that spits out the water. She has now discovered that she can attempt to drink that water as it is coming out! That is my silly girl!!

11 months!!

I cannot say it with enough emphasis, but I am AMAZED that these past 11 months have already gone by and Ava is nearly ONE YEAR OLD!!! She is nothing short of wonderful; the very best thing to ever happen to Nick and I. She is walking with more confidence now, taking six or seven steps at a time before she decides that crawling is more efficient! She is a complete chatter-box, she talks constantly to anyone who is willing to listen (Nick, me, Bode, Gunther...she isn't picky!) She repeats sounds and is getting better at it every day. I could go on and on! Here she is, in her Hawaiian outfit in honor of our 2 year anniversary this month!
