I didn't have my camera ready when Alec was born, so I have photos that my family took...thank you all so very much!!! He is an absolutely perfect, wonderful, beautiful baby boy. We are so blessed to have him as an addition to our family!

Alec Angus Raymond Malinowski
Alec arrived on 07-08-09 at 6:23pm. After a long day of induction and a few stressful hours before he arrived, he came out screaming like a wonderful baby should! He weighed in at 6 pounds 15 ounces and is 18 1/2 inches long. (A little longer than his big sister, but almost 1 1/2 pounds heavier!!) I will get to posting photos, I promise!!
The room
Nick has done a great job getting ready for the baby. Here are a few photos of the room... He painted the stripes to match the stripes on the bedskirt and will add the name to the wall soon!! What a talented daddy!!

Eagles
Ava and Nick went to see the bald eagles when you could park on the side of the road to go watch them. (The police decided it was too dangerous with the large amount of traffic and you can't do it anymore.) When they got there Ava announced to the crowd, "Look Daddy, it's an eagle!" She impressed everyone! I didn't get to see them in real life, but that nest looks HUGE and the babies are massive! What a great experience!

Getting ready for baby...
Ava wanted to make sure the glider was safe for her little brother....I guess it passed the test with her baby! I think it may be an issue when you can get into the glider on your own, buckle yourself in and turn the gliding motion and the music on all by yourself!!! (The band-aids aren't for injuries, Ava just likes them!)
Mulch
We got a large load of mulch and Ava had a great time helping spread it!! Actually, climbing the "mountain" but so much for details!!
