Ava and Alec

It won't be long before Ava has a "big brother!" He is growing so fast! At his 2 week check up they wanted him to be back to his birth weight--Alec was 8 pounds 5 ounces. He made them proud! Ava was that size at her 2 month check up!! This will be a very different experience for us! I am so excited!!

First bath

We have the whole thing on video, but here he is after his first bath in the tub. He is just too cute!!! He didn't LOVE it, but he did well. (He only cried when Ava tried to wash his hair.)

Ava's new toy

Ava loves all of the things that have shown up around the house with Alec, but her favorite thing would be what she has claimed are her "horns." I think it is too funny!!

With Daddy

Nick took advantage of my first shower and spent some quality cuddle time with Alec...here they are!!! My boys are too cute!!

The first few photos

I didn't have my camera ready when Alec was born, so I have photos that my family took...thank you all so very much!!! He is an absolutely perfect, wonderful, beautiful baby boy. We are so blessed to have him as an addition to our family!

Alec Angus Raymond Malinowski

Alec arrived on 07-08-09 at 6:23pm. After a long day of induction and a few stressful hours before he arrived, he came out screaming like a wonderful baby should! He weighed in at 6 pounds 15 ounces and is 18 1/2 inches long. (A little longer than his big sister, but almost 1 1/2 pounds heavier!!) I will get to posting photos, I promise!!

The room

Nick has done a great job getting ready for the baby. Here are a few photos of the room... He painted the stripes to match the stripes on the bedskirt and will add the name to the wall soon!! What a talented daddy!!
