Tummy time

Alec is too cute for words, especially in his purple boppy!!! He is getting better and better at tummy time. Here he is, enjoying his neck-strengthening exercises!!

HAIR CUT!!!

I got up the nerve to trim off the ends of Ava's hair...she got a paci and free access to the TV for the entire process. I think I did an OK job, even though I only cut off about 1/2 inch!!! She was a trooper and didn't complain at all, THANK GOODNESS!!

Thank you Holly!!

Here are some photos Holly took of the kids--I love them!!! Ava wasn't going to cooperate, AT ALL, so I am amazed she is in any photos! Alec does not have red hair, but I guess the one picture says otherwise...
THANK YOU HOLLY!!

ZOO!!!

Grandma took Ava to the zoo and it was a wonderful experience that we keep hearing about. She now hops everywhere like a wallaby and tell me she had to "hold on tight" to ride the camel. She loved the ducks that are everywhere outside the zoo (she was trying to feed them grass) and she really enjoyed the goats in the petting zoo (she nearly climbed on top of them!) She would really love to go back nearly every day. I don't love the zoo (or the smells at the zoo) and seeing her get so excited about it cracks me up!

Day to day

Just a few pictures of the kids...

Two Months Old!

My big boy is growing up too fast...I am not going to have a BABY for very much longer at the rate things are going! That makes me so sad. Alec is such a wonderful little boy, every minute I spend with him is the very best minute ever. He smiles all the time, coos and makes many cute baby noises. We have been working on tummy time and he is nearly to the point where he enjoys it! He is very strong, trying to hold his head up all by himself when we sit him up.
We went to his 2 month check up the other day and he weighed in at a hefty 13 pounds 3 ounces--greater than the 97th percentile!! (Ava has never been above the 3rd!!) His head was the 75th percentile and his length was 22 inches--40th percentile. We are all over the place! But, he is healthy and impressed them all with his strength. What a wonderful boy! We love you Alec Angus Raymond!!

On our way

Ava is Little Miss Mommy and is very opinionated about it. She needed her babies to come with us and she was very particular about situating them next to her. She also needed to buckle them into her car seat when we got out! Good thing I wasn't in a hurry!!
