Snow Angels!

We have been getting more snow, so we decided to take Ava out to learn how to make snow angels this morning. I think next time she will wait until it stops snowing to lay down and look up!! We just love watching her explore and learn. She has so much fun with her Bode, too!!

Birthday Party

Nick and Ava traveled across the state for a birthday party for Cole Edmunds. She had to try out the present to give her approval, first. (I should have waited until she was done eating her spaghetti to let her check it out!)

The party was at Chuck-E-Cheese and it was Ava's first time there. She had a great time on the rides! Happy birthday Cole!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

How cute is she? She was really into getting the attention turned to her, but not so much the flames! Happy Birthday, Nick! We love you so very much!!

MICROPHONE!!

Ava got this echo microphone for Christmas and has finally discovered how it works. She held it up to her mouth and breathed into it for a while, but now it is great fun. I was running out of words for her to say, as you can see, but she will say anything you ask her to. (Even some things you wish she didn't hear!) She is quite amazing and is speaking more clearly every day!

Sledding

Grandma got Ava this wonderful sled that has a "dome" over it to keep out the blowing snow. She loves it! We don't have any big hills in our yard so I had to pull her around the smal ones as fast as I could. Whew, was I tired in about one minute! Ava would have done it all day if I'd have let her! Needless to say, Mommy decided to call it quits and warm up inside after about 20 minutes. I think I did pretty well!!

Christmas

I had to include this picture because this was all she ate on Christmas Eve, all day!

I am very sad that our camera ran out of batteries on Christmas morning, but I will get some pictures from Grandma. Ava had a great time with all of her family! She really loves her pretty red shoes...more than opening presents!! Thank you, Grandma!

Snow video

Here is Ava laughing at Bode eating the snow. Oh how we love that sound! (The video is the wrong way and I apologize, but I don't know how to fix it!)
